Tempered and semi tempered glass
Characteristics of tempered glass:
Tempered glass, also known as safety glass, is actually a type of prestressed glass. Lowe glass manufacturers use physical methods to create compressive stress on the surface of glass in order to improve its strength. When the glass is subjected to external forces, the surface stress is first counteracted, thereby enhancing its load-bearing capacity and strengthening its resistance to wind pressure, cold and heat, impact, and other factors.
strength:
Compared to ordinary glass, it has increased several times, with a bending strength 3-5 times that of ordinary glass and an impact strength 5-10 times that of ordinary glass. While improving strength, it also enhances safety.
Safe use:
Its increased load-bearing capacity improves its fragility, and even if tempered glass is damaged, it forms small fragments without sharp angles, greatly reducing the harm to the human body. The resistance to rapid cooling and heating of tempered glass is 2-3 times higher than that of ordinary glass, and it can generally withstand temperature differences of more than 150LC, which has a significant effect on preventing thermal explosion.
Characteristics of semi tempered glass:
Half tempered glass is a type of glass that falls between ordinary flat glass and tempered glass. It combines some of the advantages of tempered glass, such as higher strength than ordinary glass, while avoiding poor flatness of tempered glass. The self explosion of Dog Day, once destroyed, will result in the overall crushing and other unsatisfactory weaknesses. When semi tempered glass is damaged, it cracks radially along the crack source and generally does not propagate tangential cracks, so it can still maintain its overall integrity after damage.
